Our area is R2R (Tax) and we are responsible for the end to end Indirect Tax Process. The Tax operations includes: Tax Calculation/Reporting/Declaration, Tax Assessment, Tax Payments, Tax Accounts Monitoring/Clearing, Training/Continuous Improvements and Manage Tax Specific Settings/Tools/Enablers. The daily challenge is to release all Tax Data on time according to legal government requirements. Also, to support our Business Units operations with Tax rules doubts. Bayer is a Global Company, and that you have a lot of opportunities to know all the processes SSCDN worldwide moreover to have contact with a Global Team.YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:Compliance knowledge: Properly calculate, review and register current and deferred income tax, according to CFC, IFRS and Tax rules;Prepare and submit quarterly IFRS income tax reports, discuss and align the numbers provided with Global Accounting and Tax areas; Manage the annual tax basis review with external consultants;Review and submit tax returns annually;Tax rules: Monitor and implement potential changes in Brazilian tax laws with Compliance impact;Tax incentives: Validates and ensures the quality of tax incentive credit adoption. Monitors tax incentive renewal dates and its audits;Foreign operations: analyze foreign withholding tax consumption, calculate thin capitalization deductibility and CFC rules;Financial Statements: prepare support documentation related to current and differed taxes. Discuss and align it with external auditors;Audits: Assist internal and external audit and ensure the accuracy of tax data;Projects: Act as focal point for diverse projects held by the Company;Identify process improvement needs and align with CoE / GPO organization;Support tax and accounting teams for technical and or process related questions; Monitor key process metrics that measure performance, SLA and benchmarks targets across SSCDN locations; Use and train data analytics based on state-of-the-art technologies to analyze financial data to ensure data and tax compliance quality.ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?Academic background: Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, or Economics;Work experience: Solid experience in Direct Tax;Language: Advanced and Portuguese (mandatory); Foundational level of process and system knowledge in increasing;Mandatory experience in SAP, Easy Way system.
