The Belo Horizonte, Brazil office of Klohn Crippen Berger Consultoria Ltda. (KCB) has immediate openings for a Document Controller to support the growth of our Mining Environmental Group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of Hydrogeologists, Engineers, and Scientists servicing clients in the mining, water supply and oil and gas sectors across North America, Australasia, Africa, Europe and South America. We have numerous world-class projects underway that require the leadership and additional support of an experienced industry professional. We are looking for a document and administrative controller who has experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams, sustaining excellent client relationships and further developing the business. This role will give you the opportunity to: Work closely with project managers in engineering and environmental areas to improve project accounting Support project managers in budgets and planning Act as an interface between project staff and admin staff for invoicing and collections Update monthly project status reports for corporate in coordination with the respective PMs Develop weekly reports, S curves, estimates to complete, budget revisions, etc., according to the requirements of each PM on each of their projects Development and tracking of valorizations for each project and subsequent follow up for approval to invoice Coordinate directly with client accounting personnel for follow up of any aging accounts receivable, as required Participate in proposals and budget development Process go/no gos, open projects in ERP, initiate project management plans, open folders on network and Newforma and ensure PMs are aware of any VP requirements Monitoring compliance with our management system with regards to change order management, document control, contract and client PO management, etc. Manage “PPP” reports which monitors backlog and resource leveling Assists with other tasks as required: ie. sub-qualification and sub-contract processing We value your: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Great problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task and collaborate with other team members to meet deliverables and timelines Intermediate level experience with MS Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook.
