An international business with offices based across Europe, America and Asia.Our Requirement: Overview of Responsibilities:Install and service standard and custom KJLC products, sub-assemblies and PVD systems. Upgrade and service equipment in the field, training customers on the use of equipment, whilst continuously working to improve customer service. Fault identification and maintenance of equipment at the customer site, demonstrating mechanical, electrical and software troubleshooting expertise and strong customer support. Key Job Elements:Regular domestic and/or international travelTroubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of designated equipment (sub- assemblies/PVD coating systems)Completing preventative maintenance and field modificationsDaily interaction with customers with service enquiries via phone, email and video-conferencingOffer exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints both professionally and in a timely manner Completing detailed and structured risk assessments and service reports Display extensive working knowledge of vacuum industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offeredInteract with other departments (e.g.; Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Material Control) to ensure timely delivery, service or resolution to optimize production and process improvement activityTraining of customers on technical subjects (e.g. software, hardware)Maintain a strong understanding of vacuum technology and thin film deposition techniques and processesMaintain a strong understanding of software packages and controls related to motion control, deposition source controller programs and power supplies Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Experience:Required Experience with scientific vacuum equipmentHigher education qualification in a scientific, electronics or engineering disciplineAble to manage multiple priorities and adapt to challenging and/or changing situations Highly organised and self-motivated Possess a valid and current driver’s licenseAdapt to new software programs and become proficient in their operationExcellent IT and administration skills  “Passionate individuals that embody our SPIRIT values and want to make a difference in the world are the people I want on our team.”– Kurt J.
