The challenges ahead…We are seeking a key Deal Value Engineer who will successfully act on large deals to maximize Dassault Systèmes value both to the customer and to the long-term, global strategy of DS. The Deal Engineer is a key enabler to structure the sales proposals and to detect business risks, maximizing alignment with Company policies and ensuring involvement and required approvals from all stakeholders, at local level or global level. He/she contributes to improve sales quality and efficiency processes. The Deal Engineer is a key stakeholder with the Sales Executive/ Partner Success Manager and the Legal counsel in the Geo to structure, to build and to negotiate the proposal. This deal core team may also involve, when needed, any other stakeholders, such as Customer Engagement Model, Industries & Brand, Customer Success, License Compliance, Services and Finance (Revenue Recognition, Credit Check / Cash collection, Tax, Order Management). A Deal Engineer is part of a Geo dedicated to the “Deal Value Engineering” team, reporting in each of the 12 DS Geos to the “Operations & Business Planning” organization and co-reporting to one of the 3 DS Geo Group “Customer Engagement Success” organization. What will your role be?A Deal Value Engineer, in support of Sales Expert/Partner Success manager, works within the Geo to: Focus on high-value opportunities including RFx Help structures the deal to protect the global economy of the deal, maximize alignment with DS policy and DS best practices referential Support deal review at DS Global level when needed (including support of escalations to DS Exec level) Participate to Value Engagement gates review to value DS proposal with value delivered to the customer Participate to Services proposal validation process when impacting the global economy of the deal Work with Sales Exec/ PSM and Legal to build, agree and finalize commercial terms and other related business terms Help getting all required approvals (outside his/her delegation and outside Legal validation) from stakeholders in particular through SBO and IOC process Support customer negotiations, Contribute to opportunity progress reports, in particular through Opportunity Management Your Success factors? Bachelor’s degree with MBA preferred 8-10 years of experience in business negotiation within Sales, Finance or Contracts Broad industry experience in T&M, CPG, IE, Energy & Materials or other DS-related industry Negotiation experience in a software environment; RFx, BID experience also Domain expertise in at least one of the following: Pricing, Legal, Revenue-Recognition, Sales or Sales Operations Ability to work successfully in a matrixed environment Experience in multi-cultural work environment and international companies English language skills are a must and Spanish is a plus Additional background in the following: 3DS Brands, Contracts, Industries and 3DS Market Knowldge Change Management (Leading change) Coaching and Mentoring Customer Focus Decision Making Effective Communication, Negotiation and Presentation Internal control & audit Knowledge Management License Pricing Media Ordering Process and Tools Multicultural Relationship Management Cross Peer Communication NOTE: In order to be considered for this position, please submit an English version of your resume.
