Job DescriptionPreferred QualificationsEducation Services: Req# – Senior Education Consultant – Direct Delivery (Sao Paulo, Brazil) Summary: NetSuite Education Services provides comprehensive instructional programs to ensure our customers, partners and employees have the knowledge to achieve the highest level of success. TheEducation Consultant plays a critical role in achieving this objective. They work collaboratively with customers to help them build product knowledge, increase user adoption and achieve ROI. They do this by designing and delivering high-quality, process-based tailored training that promotes NetSuite best practices. This Education Consultant role will focus primarily on direct customers but may also deliver training to Partners. The Education Consultant works in a high-energy and dynamic environment, delivering training to multiple customers in a variety of industries. This position is responsible for the delivery of instructor-led onsite and virtual end user training. The Education Consultant works in partnership with the professional services implementers to assess customer training needs, develop custom agendas and materials (written and elearning tutorials), and deliver quality training to ensure optimal user adoption. Education Consultants may deliver additional services such as Train the Trainer, Pre-UAT Training and Post Go Live Support Training. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for training, has excellent communication skills, can deliver instructor-led onsite and virtual-classroom sessions, can develop learning and reference materials, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, cares deeply about customer satisfaction, exhibits strong project management skills and embraces change. All Education Consultants will learn the basics of working with multiple industries. Responsibilities: Deliver customer-specific end user training including Pre-UAT, Train the Trainer, End User Training, and Go Live Support based on their implementation project scope onsite and virtually Understand and apply adult learning techniques and modify according to customers’ specific needs Deliver live instructor-led training sessions onsite at customer locations and in a virtual, interactive online environment Deliver webinars and webinar series to a broad customer base Understand the NetSuite application in all functional areas as they relate to customer learning requirements Learn all relevant aspects of current and new product rollouts to ensure ongoing improvement of product knowledge, training and presentation skills, and technical knowledge Take full ownership of multiple concurrent customer training projects. Interact with customer as needed for logistics, knowledge transfer and follow-up. Participate in customer training requirements definition and training scoping conversations Recommend business best practices from a user adoption, training, and business management perspective Incorporate learning industry best practices and techniques in daily engagements Apply expert knowledge of the NetSuite application to solve the customer business challenge Assume full ownership for the success of multiple concurrent customer training projects and deliver on time and on budget with the flexibility to manage a changing schedule of differing complexities with ease, grace, and some management oversight. Adhere to Education Services Delivery methods, processes, procedures, and policies in the development and delivery of training services Participate in the development of new offerings and improvement to processes, providing feedback and suggestions to education program management Act as a subject matter expert to mentor colleagues globally and to contribute to curriculum development Work tightly with North American Education Services team and management. This position will be reporting directly to a North America-based manager Qualifications/Skills: Candidates for the Education Consultant role should have many of the following qualifications: Minimum 2 years in the technology industry 1+ years’ experience in a functional training or consultative role with emphasis on technology and business process training development, design, and delivery Strong presentation, training and group facilitation skills; familiar and competent with audience-engagement methods and techniques appropriate for all types of audiences Understanding of common industry standards as related to ERP along with standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing), Sales Force Management, (Opportunity, Proposal, Sales Orders, Forecasting, Territory Management and Quotas), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfillment) as well as support (Cases Management and Territory Management) Ability to drive value with the customer Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple demands and reprioritize as customer timelines shift Highly adaptable and open to change so that one may best serve customers’ needs Excellent written and verbal English skills that can be applied to documentation development, curriculum review, delivery and communication Language Requirement: – Full Professional Proficiency in English, Spanish and Portuguese. – Preferably fully proficient in all three languages, but applicants fully proficient in English and either Spanish or Portuguese will be considered. Travel: – The position will deliver on-site training upon request, up to 40%.Detailed Description and Job RequirementsCustomizes and delivers education services to external customers. The Senior Consultant/Instructor is responsible for the success of their assigned Oracle project/training events and committed to superior customer service. They are expected to participate in the development of plans for continuous personal and professional growth. The Senior Consultant/Instructor is expected to master new services, technology and internal processes shortly after their implementation. Manage aspects of the customer event (i.e. instruction, application implementation, environment, setup etc.) to ensure success. Produce quality deliverables on a project (i.e. assessments, communication, curriculum development, Tutor, eLearning). Demonstrate the ability to teach new technical material, deliver new offerings and services, and/or implement new Oracle Applications modules with minimal preparation time and guidance. Meet utilization targets. Travel as needed. Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent functional or professional experience preferred. Has obtained one or more industry recognized certifications (OCP, CPA, CPIM). Has 2 plus years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Has 2 plus years consulting experience or experience teaching adult learners. This position is hourly and eligible for overtime.
