Job DescriptionPreferred QualificationsSenior Consultant – Americas Global Mobility Team at Oracle The role is with Oracle’s Global Mobility team, which has the remit of enabling employee mobility in support of the Company’s business worldwide. With a fast expanding global workforce, cost effective, practical mobility solutions form a key part of our management’s resourcing strategy. The successful candidate will be based in San Paulo, Brazil and will play an important role in driving Oracle’s mobility policy and processes in Latin America (LAD). The position will work closely with management, employees and HR, both in the Americas region and internationally. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to): Work with Business Management to plan and implement international assignments originating in the Americas Region (US, LAD, and Canada). This includes providing consultation, support and guidance to managers/employees throughout the assignment lifecycle; performing assignment compensation reviews; preparing assignment cost projections at all levels; and applying subject matter expertise on complex assignment, immigration, and relocation matters. Work with cross functional teams/LOBs to understand requirements and impact of various policies and regulations on different functional teams (legal, HR, Tax, Employment/Labor, Global Security, Trade & Compliance etc.) Develop and maintain partnership with various line of business in-order to: Ensure clear understanding of business requirements, strategic approach and compliance standards; Communicate to the business the immigration standards and strategy Assist in developing communications, training and other material related to Global Mobility compliance Support the periodic review of the Global Mobility procedures, communications and documentations to ensure up-to-date information and relevance. Identify bottle neck areas in the process (administration of program, consistency in communication, etc.) and provide recommendations for process improvement. Assist managers, employees and HR with international transfers to I out of the LAD region with questions related to Oracle’s relocation policies and processes. Assist, communicate and educate HR, Recruiting, Lines of Business and Employees regarding Oracle’s global mobility policies, processes and procedures. Partner / coordinate with other departments to ensure the success of the mobility programs, such as International Tax, Accounts Payable, Travel, Payroll, etc. Ensure employee and corporate compliance with immigration, labor, employment and tax legislation (in partnership with legal, tax and local HR). Maintain real-time assignment data entry in Global Mobility’s internal data system to enable the effective tracking and ongoing management of assignments, and accurate reporting. Manage relocation vendors to ensure an understanding of Oracle’s requirements of smooth transitions during the relocation process. Act as a single point of contact for Global Mobility related queries an escalations within the LAD region. Participate in global / regional / country special projects related to Global Mobility Required skills and Experience: Language Skills: Portuguese, Spanish and English Strong ability to work in a collaborative team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written, with the ability to conduct business with managers and employees at all levels Must be able to demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills Ability to work independently and on own initiative Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment Excellent organizational, administrative and planning skills are essential Culturally aware – This position requires interaction with employees and managers worldwide. It is essential that the candidate is sensitive to cultural differences and is able to balance them with the job that needs to be completed in order to enhance communication, productivity and unity in the workplace. Education: A Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Join a leading HR group consulting with management and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment). Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. 5 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree. Experience in an HR specialty a plus.
